My earliest inspiration in art came from my father, who became aware that I had talent and took me with him to art classes at Ohio State University when I was ten years old. My mother encouraged me that same year by helping me to be recognized by a Walt Disney talent hunt. A continuing interest led me to major in Fine Arts at Ohio State University, Middle Tennessee State University, and the University of Tennessee. I also studies with Paul Zepelinsky, John Richardson, Charles Reid, David Lyle Millard, Emerson Burckhardt, and Gus Baker. Every Tuesday, I enjoy teaching art classes in my studio located in the Antique Village in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
